Skills of Attending Presentations
Several people do write about Presentation Skills since it is very important to deliver a good presentation starting from the topic through the way it is being delivered. However, how about the attendees?! I am sure they need skills too. Those skills the attendees need are related to their attitude and how to attend the presentation. This post will give a glance on attendees skills required. It is based on an experience with a presentation I had recently at work keeping in mind that the topic was important and my presentation skills are fairly good. In addition, involved people are related to the topic being discussed.
Be On Time
It is really important to be on time for the presentation. This gives a good idea about you to the presenter and also other attendees. Unfortunately, there are those who come late and this becomes like a habit. One of the motives behind that is to show importance. However, being late for the presentation affect your picture in front of others.
During the presentation, sure there will be some points that you agree or disagree with. Arguing with the presenter for each point once mentioned will decrease the efficiency of the presentation and will disturb the flow of ideas. A good technique is to write down the points and keep the discussion till end. Sure there will be some time given for discussion and that will be the right time to do so. In addition, make sure that the discussion is healthy and helps to achieve improvements on the issues being discussed.

about 13 years agoSo much great advice in this article – I especially liked the idea of using multiple platforms since not all people are on one platform. This will lead to reaching a broader audience. Sharing info and giving proper credit where it’s due is also huge in the blogging community. Great tips....:) GREAT JOB ANWAR..
