What Legacy Will You Leave Behind
In this life, there are many people we interact with. Whether friends, colleagues or even family members, those we interact with will remember something about us once we leave them. This thing that they remember is the legacy we left behind. The question is: what legacy will we leave behind?
Many times we hear the quote “first impression is the last impression”. This is true and people will remember how we impressed them for the first time. However, still we can touch many different aspects of those people lives as we interact with them. The way we touch those people lives will be in either a positive way or a negative way and that is exactly how they will remember us which is the legacy we will leave behind once we leave those people.
Working environments at different organizations are a good example where different people join and leave. If we look at those different people who left us, then we will find either people who were good to us and left a wonderful legacy. Therefore, we really wish they are still with us. On the other hand, we will find the other category who were acting as troublemakers for us and hence, we are not keen for their stay and work with us.
As we can see, legacy is a very important issue. I believe that each one of us should pause for while and think about the legacy he/she wants to leave behind. Based on what you think and what legacy you want to leave behind, act and proceed for that legacy and for sure you will get the results you are looking for. It is really like planting seeds. Therefore, you should decide which seeds you want to plant and grow.
